Springkällan by Draggån (river) is a natural well-spring in the middle of the forest.
A prospector drilled for oil here in 1869, but he found water under pressure.
Since then the water gushes out all year around, and in the winter the water forms beautiful iceformations.
Springkällan is situated 6 km north of Rättvik, just beyond the horse- race tracks.
